Born and raised in Uttara Karnataka, Hanumanth has always carried a deep emotional connection to his roots — from the warmth of a grandmother’s Khoudi, to the vibrant markets filled with Channapatna toys and Athani slippers. His journey into entrepreneurship is built on the belief that every craft tells a story and that artisans deserve a platform that values their skill and sustains their livelihoods.

With years of experience in building ventures like Halftea, Mr. Girmit, and IndustryEazy, Hanumanth brings both business acumen and cultural passion to Rural Monk. His mission is to bridge the gap between timeless tradition and modern design, ensuring artisans thrive while customers experience authentic heritage in their homes.

For Hanumanth, Rural Monk is not just a brand — it’s a movement to preserve heritage, empower artisans, and inspire pride in Karnataka’s craftsmanship.
